Different from a regular blanket

Yoga and meditation blankets serve a specific posture-support role — they're folded under hips, draped during savasana, used as a bolster substitute. The fabric needs to be heavier and denser than a casual throw (so it holds its shape when folded) and absorbent enough to handle a sweaty practice.

Our default yoga spec: cotton-blend woven fabric, 380–450 GSM, 200×150 cm format. Often a jacquard stripe woven into the fabric in calming earth tones — sage, terracotta, oat, charcoal. Edges are double-fold-stitched, not satin-bound, for a more grounded feel.

Decoration

Most yoga brands prefer subtle, calming branding: a small woven label in the corner, a low-contrast embroidered sanskrit symbol or wordmark, or no visible logo at all (with branding only on the hangtag). Sublimation print is rare — it doesn't match the calming aesthetic most wellness brands cultivate.

FAQ

What weight is right for a yoga / meditation blanket? +
380–450 GSM cotton-blend woven. Lighter than that and the blanket doesn't hold shape when folded under hips. Heavier than 500 GSM and it becomes unwieldy.
Can you do GOTS organic cotton? +
Yes, on request. We source from a GOTS chain-of-custody-certified cotton mill in Ningbo and provide Transaction Certificates per shipment. Lead time adds ~5 days for sourcing.
Studio with 30 mats — under your MOQ? +
Yes, 30 pieces is well under our 500-pc minimum. We suggest pooling with planned restocking to hit 500 — or partnering with a retail SKU at the same studio to share the run.
