What we make for hospitality

For boutique hotels and resort groups we typically run two product types: a turndown amenity throw (1.3 × 1.6 m, draped at the foot of the bed during turndown service) and a guest-room lounge blanket (1.5 × 2.0 m, kept folded on an ottoman or bench). Both are usually 320–380 GSM coral fleece or jacquard wool, with an embroidered hotel crest in the corner or a satin-band border.

Hand-feel matters more than price

The mistake most procurement teams make is sourcing hotel throws from generic Yiwu suppliers and ending up with 240 GSM polar fleece that reads as a stadium giveaway. A real hotel throw needs density — the kind of weight that drapes properly when a housekeeper folds the corner. Below 280 GSM you can't get there. Above 420 GSM and the throw is hard to fold cleanly.

Decoration: jacquard, embroidery, or both

Embroidered crests work well for plain-ground throws — they put a focused brand mark where guests will see it. Jacquard borders weave the brand identity into the textile itself; the pattern stays visible at any fold. The most premium programs use both: a jacquard border with a flat-stitch corner monogram.

Programs we've shipped

We currently ship to a four-property boutique hotel group in the Cotswolds (320 GSM coral fleece, jacquard-bordered, ~6,000 pcs/year), a Bali villa chain (380 GSM sherpa-fleece reversible, embroidered, ~2,400 pcs/year) and a Dubai resort spa (organic-cotton waffle wool blend, satin-bound, ~4,800 pcs/year). Most hospitality clients re-order on a 12 to 18-month cycle.

FAQ — Hotel throw sourcing

What's the right GSM for a hotel turndown throw? +
For five-star hotel turndown the sweet spot is 320–380 GSM coral fleece or 320 GSM jacquard wool. Anything under 280 GSM reads as budget. Anything over 420 GSM is too heavy for layering on a tightly made bed.
Embroidered crest or jacquard for a premium hotel program? +
Jacquard for woven-in borders that read as "textile-native" luxury. Embroidered crest for a focused logo placement on a plain ground. Most premium programs combine both: jacquard border + flat-stitched corner monogram.
MOQ for a boutique hotel order of 30 rooms? +
Our standard MOQ is 500 pcs per design. For a 30-room hotel we typically pool MOQ across room types (premium / standard) or run a slightly higher quantity with planned restocking. Reach out — we'll work the math.
Can you match an existing tartan or jacquard pattern? +
Yes. Send a hi-res scan or physical sample and we'll digitize the jacquard card. Set-up takes 7–10 days. Subject to any third-party IP — we can't reproduce trademarked tartans without permission.
