Application and specification
Travel retail, hospitality, rail, coach, cruise and aviation uses can place different limits on warmth, folded volume, cleaning and labeling. Use travel & airline blanket weight & packing to frame the trade-offs, then document the actual operating requirement in the RFQ.
Fabric and packed-size decisions
- Fabric: define fiber content, knit construction, nominal weight, color, finish, hand-feel reference and care method.
- Packed format: define folded dimensions, compression method and any pouch material, closure, branding and repacking requirement.
If recycled content or supporting documents are required, state the exact evidence and scope in the RFQ and review current order-specific records before approval. The textile documentation guide explains what buyers should check.
RFQ and sample checklist
- Finished dimensions, weight tolerance, folded dimensions and total packed weight
- Fabric, color reference, edge finish, branding, labels and care instructions
- Pouch or wrap specification, packaging configuration and quantity tiers
- Applicable test methods, sample approval points, destination and required delivery date
If the RFQ covers a broader amenity kit, list every component and its acceptance criteria separately. The airline amenity page provides additional planning context.
